Sweet Pea - Jewels of Albion (Heirloom)- Lathyrus odoratus

This custom blended color palette of especially fragrant antique varieties offers both beautiful cool shade and plants with significantly more heat tolerance than other sweet pea varieties. You'll have a succession in bloom with "Flora Norton" (pastel blue), "Lord Nelson" (deep blue), "Mrs. Collier" (creamy-white), "Lady Grisel Hamilton" (pastel lavender), and "Captain of the Blues" (mauve-blue). This lovely perfumed mix blooms on strong climbing vines that easily cover a trellis or fence.

Soil & Water:Sweet peas must have well-drained soil, so dig deeply and enrich with aged manure or compost before sowing seeds. Water well and mulch as vines grow.

Planting & Growing:Sow seeds in full sun in cool early spring weather (as early as the ground can be worked). In mild winter climates, where the ground does not freeze, sweet peas can be planted in the fall. Erect a well-anchored trellis, fence, or vertical netting for these climbing vines before planting seeds. Seedlings will form strong root systems, then overwinter to bloom vigorously in the spring. Plant seeds 1" deep and 2 - 3" apart. When seedlings are 2" tall, thin to 4-5" apart to allow plants room to mature. Sweet peas bloom best before the weather gets too hot. Where summer heat comes on fast, they'll appreciate a spot with afternoon shade. Anchor supports well as vies will grow heavy with bloom. Protect seedlings from birds, slugs, and snails. For longest bloom, pick flowers often and keep faded blossoms cut.

I’m a side sleeper and when I use this pillow, it does a good job of keeping my neck in alignment. However, the pillow tends to migrate up as I sleep. Or I tend to slip down off the pillow, either or. So that’s why I’ve removed a second star. Maybe if I removed more stuffing that wouldn’t happen, but then I feel like the loft would be too little. I will say that these provide great support when sitting up in bed reading or watching TV. So would I buy them again? Probably not. Am I going to keep using them? Yes
