3 Ways to Carry Your Baby

Depending on you and your baby’s preference, with simple adjustments, you can carry your baby on your front facing you, on your back facing you, or on your hip facing you. Back and hip carries are recommended for babies with good head control.

Made for babies 12-35 lbs. and infants 7-12 lbs.

The ERGObaby Original Carrier can ergonomically hold infants and babies ranging from 7 lbs all the way up to 35 lbs. An infant insert (sold separately) is recommended for newborns and infants from 7 lbs - 12 lbs.

Ergonomic for parent and baby

ERGObaby prides itself on its safety and comfort standards for babies and parents. The ERGObaby Original buckle carrier was made with ergonomics in mind. Your baby will be supported in the froggy-legged, C-shape spine position that is ideal when being worn. ERGObaby worked closely with the International Hip Dysplasia Institute to be sure that all ERGObaby carriers are acknowledged as hip-healthy for babies. You can also be sure that the carrier offers plenty of support on the shoulders and hips while wearing your baby.

Adjustable straps and waistbelt

No matter who is wearing your child or how quickly your child grows - the adjustable straps and waistbelt will ensure that you get a comfortable fit every time. The straps measure from 24” - 44” in length. The waistbelt measures from 26” - 55” in length.

Storage pocket

With a spacious storage pocket right on the front panel of the carrier, you will be able to carry your keys, a toy, or other essentials right on your carrier so you truly can be hands-free!

Adjustable hood

For privacy or nap time, the ERGObaby Original Carrier comes with a matching adjustable hood that folds easily when it is not being used or snaps onto the shoulder straps at different levels depending on how you’d like it to fit.

Almost Perfect

If you are looking for a quiet mouse, this is it. I was skeptical about the "ergonomics" but find that it is much more comfortable for me than the more traditional design for left and right clicking. Simple moving seems fine but its weight is a bit excessive for lifting for repositioning in tight spaces. It is difficult to lift without activating the button on the haptic pad, even set to require firm pressure. A bit more contour on the right would solve this nicely to allow lifting the mouse without repositioning your hand. The forward and back buttons may be a bit awkward for some people. I'm slowly adjusting. Actually, each mouse I've owned needed a bit of getting used to. Side scrolling doesn't always work as it seems it would. Frequently, it scrolls vertically like the "normal" scroll wheel depending on the program. Haptic feedback is not a commonly used feature yet, however, Windows will be slowly adding haptic features to later updates from what I've read. I keep the setting on the lowest haptic feedback level and for what it functions on so far seems natural and not intrusive. There are many adjustments and customizations, too many to go into since I haven't played around with most. So far, even with what may seem like a lot of negative thoughts, I love this mouse. It would be five stars if lifting to repositioning in tight spaces was easier.

All was well for about three weeks, long enough that when the gremlins arrived I didn’t immediately associate the new hardware. For the purposes of this discussion, gentle reader, know that I run legacy (what I affectionately refer to as, “Lazarus”) builds. Rigs that started life running Windows Vista/7, died, and that now, resurrected, run 10 and 11, and all that that implies. So, when a mouse started stuttering, of course I thought it was a gremlin in the machine, right? I spent more days than I am comfortable sharing with you pouring over processes and background apps, and registry trims…before Accam’s Razor suggested I eliminate the mouse as a variable. Changing the battery was ineffective, but when I swapped in the ooold Logitech…Yahtzee/Bingo/Booyah…smooth and precise…butter! All I needed was a new Logitech mouse. So, if you’re here you likely are having mouse issues of your own, or you just need one that works…this is it! 😉
