Osmocote is a pellet fertilizer that is safe for use with carnivorous Sarracenia and Nepenthes. It is a time release fertilizer that we have available in 14 - 14- 14 strength. If you are looking for bugs for Winter feeding or just in general, to give you plants the extra boost of nutrition, please check out our ever growing Accessories section.
You will receive one 3" x 5" resealable kraft bag containing 3 Tablespoons of fertilizer made up of tiny time-release pellets. Osmocote can be used on most Nepenthes & Sarracenia. Nepenthes should be fertilized with one pellet in a pitcher once they are large enough to handle it without burning up, such as the medium stage. For Sarracenia, put for pellets in each pot at the beginning of Spring and once again in four months and then allow to go dormant when the time comes.
Directions for Use:
For Nepenthes: Place one or two pellets in each pitcher that appears. Three may be used on large pitchers. If using two pellets burns the pitcher, then leave it alone and let it continue to absorb what is available in that pitcher and then decrease to one per pitcher for a while, until they get bigger. While you may lose that pitcher, the plant will still benefit from the fertilizer that is absorbed by the plant. These are time-release pellets and will only need to be given to each pitcher once in the entire life of that particular pitcher.
For Sarracenia: Push two to four pellets in the soil of a 4” - 6” pot in the Spring and then four more again in four and a half months, at the halfway point of their nine months outside of dormancy. Only fertilize twice per year and four and a half months apart. We do not recommend soil feeding for any other type of carnivorous plants. Better to foliar feed the others with Maxsea.

Very versatile and durable dog toy
This is not a good toy to leave wit big dogs unattended. That being said it is a GREAT dog toy for households that have a variety size of dogs. Our Golden Retriever and 6 pound Pomeranian both play with it. Both retrieve it and occasionally share carrying it back to us. I know it will eventually get destroyed but that is what dog toys are for. Very durable and with the holes, it allows small dogs to pick it up as easily as larger dogs.

Keeps my dog busy
This works great for rolling treats up in fleece and putting them in the ball. The ball material is flexible and durable. This is a fun and engaging activity for when the weather prevents outside fun.

The best dog ball EVER!!!
Our 3 y.o. Mini Australian shepherd destroys every toy that she can. We can’t have any kind of cloth toys, including the heavy duty, triple stitched, fire hose Kong toys. We can’t have rope toys, even the balls. There are many rubber or silicone toys we also can’t have as she destroys them as well. She has 5 of these balls, some for over a year and they are still in GREAT shape. Left in the sun, rain, etc, they just hold up. They also don’t have a lot of surface area to hold slobber so your hand doesn’t get all wet. Heavy enough to still throw a fair distance, but light enough that the dog was fine the few times I’ve accidentally drilled her in the ass. These are the best.

The best dog ball!
I have bought about 8 of these balls now. Mostly because my dog looses his or I’m buying them for my other dog friends. I put a dog bone in it at dinner time and it keeps my dog occupied while I’m eating my dinner. He loves it and so do I! They also have different sizes. We recently got a bigger dog breed so I got the biggest one. He loves it as well! Worth every penny!
