The leaves are long, elongated to broadly cordate, dark green, and genuinely velvety with a soft velutinous texture and fine glandular dots across the surface, carrying prominent white venation of clean, clear contrast that becomes increasingly dramatic as the leaves extend to their full length. Mature leaves on well-grown specimens under high humidity can exceed one meter in length, arching gracefully outward in a spreading, non-climbing rosette habit that eventually creates a large, immersive foliage presence of considerable drama — this is a plant that rewards its keeper not with rapid turnover but with a slow accumulation of extraordinary scale.
