This is one of the few double-action products on the market which tackles duckweed through its roots and leaves. This is a much more successful way of removing the problematic aquatic weed.
Adding into the water (following the volume guidelines on the instructions) the treatment will be absorbed into the roots of the duckweed, the microscopic substance then expands blocking the weeds ability to absorb water. Whilst this is happening you can apply with a sprayer to the top of the duckweed (caution only spray if you can avoid application to other pond plants), the treatment contains UV blockers which once applied will prevent the duckweed from being able to absorb sunlight. By limiting the ability to absorb water and sunlight the Gardening Naturally Duckweed treatment will resolve your duckweed issues.
Instructions:
Use 10ml per 225 litres or 50 gallons of water.
1. Shake the bottle
2. Remove the cap which is not on the measuring chamber.
3. Squeeze the bottle gently until you reach the required level on the measuring chamber.
4. The treatment can be repeated after one week if required.
5. Spray neat over floating weed where possible to action the UV blocker, and add directly to the water to enable the water absorption limiting action.
Please note: Do not spray on other pond plants.
