This medium sized fast growing tree is grown in many parts of the world. It is sometimes known as the Saba Nut and is grown mainly for its edible seeds; however it also makes a suitable potted indoor plant or outdoor specimen. The large white flowers are very fragrant, another reason to have it in the garden. Overall, this versatile tree is a handsome landscape addition The seeds can be eaten either raw or roasted. When roasted or fried in oil they taste like chestnuts or cashews, raw they taste like peanuts and keep for months in a cool, dry place. They can also be ground and used as a flour substitute when baking bread. The young leaves and flowers are cooked and delicious eaten as a vegetable. Production starts within a few years. The large, white, self-fertile flowers display spectacular clusters of 10cm cream-white stamens. The fruit is a woody green five-valved pod up to 30cm in length. The capsules that follow burst open when the seeds are ripe. The plant grows well in mild inland parts and coastal areas. The plant will tolerate brief exposure to low temperatures but won't tolerate frost. A frost-free location with some protection from hot, drying winds is the best choice for the plant. It will take full sun to partial shade. Malabar chestnuts are not overly fussy about soil as long as it is well drained. They are semi-deciduous.

Currently 25cms tall.

The book gave me more understanding of what has brought this country to the crisis that we are in.
Format: Hardcover
I was first struck by the books detail of the history of the family and masculinity. I knew there was something wrong with families here in the U.S. , but it is hard to put a finger on the roots of the problem. Nancy's book has made it clear to me that the roots of the destruction of the family unit began long ago. I also learned what a good or bad father looks like although we always want to love our fathers. The privatization of faith to the home and the workplace to secular also has wreaked havoc on the family unit. Nancy has addressed the subject of masculinity well. I am thrilled about the proper statistics about devout Christian men and have quoted the wrong statistics without knowing that there was a difference in the statistics when it comes to nominal Christian men.

Didn't Notice Difference
The taste is actually pretty good, honestly it's more like a treat than a supplement... but I haven't noticed any significant changes after going through the entire bottle. They didn't cause any upset stomach or side effects, which is a plus, but the overall benefits feel negligible.

GREAT CONCEPT AND DESIGN
I bought these Feminine Balance Gummies because I was intrigued by the approach that was utilized. For me, I have been involved with lactobacillus formulas and probiotics with incorporating yogurt (the really healthy kind not the ones with a lot of advertising) to deal with yeast overgrowth. Typically I am experiencing a problem because I am consuming too much sugary foods (causing the body's resources to be depleted) or because I have taken a course of antibotics which killed both the good and bad bacteria in the body and now needs replenished. So, my first impression was the intrigued by the use of Pineapple as a part of the formulation, which is unusual but a good choice nonetheless because it is very beneficial for digestion and also for pain reduction. I liked the taste of the gummy, it tasted like Pineapple candy. The inclusion of Vitamin C seemed a bit of a stretch and is included to enhance the immune function. There are lactobacillus strains but the manufacturer has kept the strains used as a proprietary secret - which I find a bit frustrating as a consumer. Whatever it is, there is a billion of them (is this per gummie?). The manufacturer does support the use of vegan only products, it is also "clean" Halal, it is gluten free and allergen free. So, it appears they have carefully considered the inclusion of each ingredient for benefit. So here is the real test, yes, I have had the desired outcome by improving my "lady garden" and this is a very viable product in my opinion. I would recommend it to others.
