Umbrella Parade daylily is unforgettable. Huge, 9" purple and yellow spider-type blooms are a wonderful example of a bicolor daylily. A good thing since Umbrella Parade is quite floriferous. Reaches around 30" tall in our East Tennessee garden and looks magical in a light summer breeze.
As an early season bloomer, we begin to see the oh-so-lovely blooms of Umbrella Parade around the end of May/beginning of June. If you live to our north, you'll see them a bit after we do. If you live to our south, you'll notice them a couple of weeks before us. Good rebloom means you'll see them off and on throughout the season.
Umbrella Parade is a semi-evergreen daylily. That means it can be grown in gardens across the country.
To really make this lovely daylily shine, plant it with deep purple, sizzling red or bright orange daylilies.
