T. Hybrid No. 1 Air Plants, Approximately 4-6"

Tillandsia Hybrid 1, also known as T. Houston "cotton candy", is a cross between a Stricta and Recurvifolia. T. Hybrid 1 is a medium sized air plant. It's leaves are a silvery light green color that are firm and pointed. When in bloom, T. Hybrid 1 will display a cotton candy pink inflorescence and bright white flowers. It's optimal temperature is 75 +/- 10, with tolerance for higher temperatures and humidity. They appreciate bright stippled sunny areas of lighting.

From Green to Blush

T. Hybrid 1 is a medium sized air plant with a firm dense rosette of smooth-edged straight leaves. They display a silvery light green color with prominent trichomes covering the entire length of the leaves. When transitioning into blush, their leaves will begin to change from green to a soft pink color focusing near the bloom.

The leaves are a great indicator for the plants need for water. When underwatered, they may show signs of leaf curling, browning and/or may be dry to the touch. Care must be taken to ensure water does not pool in its base, as this will cause rot. Good air flow will assist with drying and turning the plant upside down after watering will prevent water from pooling.

Bud Formation & Blooms

T. Hybrid No. 1 blooms from early spring through late summer. They have a long lasting bloom with shades of rose and pink followed by an impressive bloom displaying a large pink colored inflorescence and many bright white flowers.

Their flowers can be enjoyed for several days and will then begin to dry up over the next couple of weeks until the entire inflorescence has completely dried out. At this point you can trim the inflorescence for aesthetic purposes or leave it as is.

Fertilizing your Tillandsia with The Drunken Gnome's Bromeliad & Air Plant Food will help encourage budding and brighter blooms.

Reproduction & Propagation

T. Hybrid No. 1 have a life cycle of growing to maturity and then blooming. Before, during or after blooming the T. Hybrid No. 1 will start producing new baby plants called offsets, which are also known as pups. On average it will produce between 1 - 4+ pups.

The pups will obtain nutrients from the mother plant as she ends her lifecycle. If left to colonize, they will continue to grow to maturity, bloom and reproduce, forming a clump.

They can also be separated into individual plants once the pups grow to 1/3 or half the size of the mother plant. A gentle tug and twist will not hurt the plants as you remove the pups.

Receiving Your Airplant

No matter what stage your T. Hybrid No. 1 is in at the time of arrival, it will continue to grow and change over time.

Once you receive your new air plant(s), it's important to give them a good soaking and acclimate them to their new environment.

Take care of your air plants and provide for them by nourishing them with adequate sunlight, airflow, water and nutrients and they will reward you for years to come!

Please Note* Air plant size, color and growth stage may vary slightly according to availability.

Pups Love
Color: Green, Size: Medium (2-1/2 in, (Pack of 1)), Color: Green, Size: Medium (2-1/2 in, (Pack of 1))
As you can see from the photo, my pup absolutely loves it! It’s the perfect size for him and for reference he’s 25 pounds. It’s got a nice weight to it, but it’s soft enough to be able to throw and not worry about damaging the walls. We just started playing with it today, but it seems very durable.

Fun for the first day, but just get the round balls.
Color: Green, Size: Medium (2-1/2 in (Pack of 2))
These balls do work, but they bouncy pretty much like a regular chuck it ball. They do NOT fit in the chuck it handheld ball launcher, which makes them a pain to throw. The green color also makes them somewhat challenging to find when the grass is long. That said, they do work as intended, and the dogs like them the same as all the other chuck it balls we own. As the person who had to throw them, my advice would be to just get the round balls that fit in the ball launcher. Durability: 9/10 they hood together better than the traditional balls without the hole (that crack down the seam over time). These have yet to crack despite the same wear and tear. Pros: durable, dogs like them, they do sink in water Cons: green color, hard to fit in handheld ball launcher

Winner!
Color: Green, Size: Medium (2-1/2 in (Pack of 2))
I recently got the BOUNCY DOG BALL TOY for my fur baby, and I'm thrilled to say that it's a total winner! The best feature of this interactive dog toy is its erratic bounce, which keeps my pup on their toes and makes every playtime session full of surprises. The squared corners of the ball cause it to bounce every which way when thrown, making it an exciting challenge for my dog to catch. And because it's compatible with the Chuckit! Ball Launchers, we can play fetch for hours on end without ever getting bored. One thing I love about this fetch toy is its durability. It's made of tough rubber that can withstand even the most aggressive chewers, and it's super easy to clean after a long day of play. Plus, with two balls included, we always have a backup when one inevitably gets lost.

good for puppies who like to eat pee pads
Color: Blue, Size: 28" x 34"
this is the only holder that worked for my puppy who loved chewing up pee pads!! good quality holder and the peace of mind makes the price worth it. it's easy to clean if they pee on the edges and helps puppies learn to stay on the pad. only downside in my opinion is that i have to fold the pee pad to make it fit well... not too much of an issue since pee pads already have a crease in them :) definitely recommend!! and i already bought two lol

Keeps the pad in place, and looks great.
Color: Dark Gray, Size: 14" x 17", Color: Dark Gray, Size: 14" x 17"
We bought this pee pad tray when we got our little Yorkie. We bought everything to match our white and gray home decor, so this was perfect for that. It's super easy to use. We buy the 22x22 Amazon brand pee pads, and they fit just right, and work great. You can put it on without fussing with folding anything if you want, but it's also very easy to fold the edges really quick for a cleaner look. We do both depending on how busy we are. I've attached pictures of what it looks like either way you do it, and how it looks in the kennel. It's nice that the tray still closes just fine without folding the edges on those busy mornings, and we are very pleased with it. It's very easy to clean. Usually we just swap the pad out, but we use Lysol wipes most of the time, because sometimes he tracks a little smear here or there on the ring of the tray. I'd soak it once a month just to get a full clean, but the pads are pretty good, so the Lysol wipes are sufficient for the most part. Our puppy was not affected by adding this tray to the pee pads he was originally trained on. It actually gave us peace of mind when he was tiny and would sometimes play with the pads. He didn't do it often, but he can't do it with this tray, which is good to know. It looks so nice in his kennel. We have this on one side, and his bed on the other. He's a small dog, so I don't know how well this size would work for a dog bigger than 20-25lbs full grown. Our's will only be 5-6lbs full grown and he has no trouble keeping everything on the tray, and has room for multiple potty times. I want to note that this tray is not 17x17 on the outside. That's the measurement of the pads you should get. It's more rectangular. If I remember, I will look for the measurements and add them to this review once posted, because I didn't realize the actual size when I ordered. UPDATED:Dimensions: 19.33"L x 16.53"W x 1.18"H Luckily, it fits perfect in half of our 24×36inch kennel, and I'm glad it's not any smaller or bigger. It would not have worked for our needs. I do recommend this. It helps with the look/aesthetics of your pups kennel, and protects the pad from the puppy flipping it and playing with it. It also keeps the mess from getting on his bedding, which makes life a little easier. I hope this and these pictures help. UPDATE 7/2/20: Our Yorkie is now basically full grown and just over 5lbs vs the 2lbs he was in these picture, and he still fits perfectly on the tray with a couple inches on each side to spare. I also wanted to update that this didn't seem to slow, and definitely didn't stop his progress in potty training outside, which was a big concern of mine. Once we got really focused with taking him out on schedule, &ALWAYS AS SOON AS he opened his eyes, then of course rewarding with praise &a half of a little training treat after each time using the potty, as well as any time he alerted us that he needed to go outside. He is totally potty trained outside right now, and has been since around or before the holidays. We still keep this in his kennel for those times we may over sleep or when we're not at home incase he can't hold it, especially since he's still a puppy. He has had an occasion pee or poop on the pee pad over the last 7mnths, but it's been rare. I still plan to keep this in until he gets a little older. I'd much rather just switch a pad out than clean a big mess, and launder all of his bedding because of an accident.
