ZZ plants grow glossy leaves that sprout in a neat and regular pattern, and the 'Supernova' variety's foliage starts as a fresh lime green and matures into an intense, dark-purplish hue (although not as dark as the 'Raven' variety). 

Because of their adaptability, ZZ plants are especially suitable for those with minimal plant care experience or time. Largely self-maintaining, these plants are drought-resistant and tolerate low-lighting well, although bright indirect sunlight will promote the most growth.
