Verzorging & tips Dracaena Hawaiian Sunshine - 150cm

De Dracaena Hawaiian Sunshine is een zeer sterke plant. Zelfs de aller slechtste plantenverzorgers zullen deze plant niet snel van zijn stokje krijgen. Deze makkelijke kamerplant heeft namelijk bijzonder weinig verzorging en aandacht nodig. Ideaal dus, als je geen groene vingers hebt of weinig tijd hebt. Dit betekent natuurlijk niet dat je deze groene kamerplant neer kunt zetten en zomaar kunt vergeten. Ook een makkelijke kamerplant heeft zo af en toe zijn aandacht nodig.

Waterbehoefte Dracaena Hawaiian Sunshine - 150cm

De Dracaena heeft niet veel water nodig. Je hoeft de Drakenbloedplant maar 1 keer in de 3 tot 6 weken water te geven. Je kunt dit het beste even controleren door de vochtigheid van de aarde te checken. Te veel water doet deze toffe groene kamerplant zeker niet goed!

Lichtbehoefte Dracaena Hawaiian Sunshine - 150cm

De Dracaena vindt het fantastisch om op een halfschaduw plek te staan. Direct zonlicht tolereert de plant absoluut niet en kan de bladeren doen verbranden.

De Dracaena Hawaiian Sunshine is helaas licht giftig. Pas dus op met huisdieren en kleine kinderen.

Memories of the Camino

First off, I have to say that my husband and I know Angela, the author. We met her because she is a neighbor of my sister, living in Hawaii. We discovered that she planned to walk the Camino de Santiago de Compostela the same year we were (2016) ! On a visit to Hawaii, we met with Angela and did a little local hike together. She was so enthusiastic and had prepared well. We, too, had been reading up and watching videos, getting suggestions as to what to bring, how to deal with physical issues and weather, what to pack and what not to pack, etc. Still, for anyone doing the Camino - whether the WHOLE 500 miles or doing the required 100 km to get the certificate at the final destination: Santiago de Compostela, Spain - it is a very personal endeavor. Reading Angela Leslee's book gives you the personal story of her "camino," and it is captivating. The changes that take place in her life - the discoveries she makes, the people she meets, the failures she feels, the fears, the habits that get broken (such as food choices!) - all make for an adventure that is life-changing and an interesting read. For anyone considering this pilgrimage, because that's what it is, this book will inspire you. You don't need to be part of a "group." You don't need a lot of plans. You do need to be prepared to be changed. The memory for myself and my husband is that it is the best shared experience we have had together in our 50 years of marriage! Angela's book brought back so many wonderful memories for us. I highly recommend this book.
