This small South African succulent forms neat, compact rosettes of plump, fleshy leaves tipped with translucent, glassy windows that allow light to filter through to the inner leaf tissue, a clever adaptation to its natural habitat where it often grows partially buried in sandy soil. Up close, the transparent tips have a luminous, jewel-like quality that is simply captivating. It is also one of the very best succulents for growing indoors, tolerating lower light conditions that would stress most other succulents.

| ☀️ Sun | Bright, indirect light. Tolerates lower light better than most succulents. Avoid direct, harsh sun which can scorch and fade the translucent tips. |
