Prefers a bright spot out of direct sunlight, take care to not place in a drafty spot or an unregulated spot that can get too hot or cold.

Care

Take care watering this plant, do not over water or allow it to completely dry out between watering, inconsistent watering can cause discolouration of foliage. 

Fertilise during warmer months, remove spent leaves from pot however don’t remove leaves until they fall off, if you notice brown spots this indicates the leaves are dirty- to clean simply use a damp dish cloth to wipe clean.

I grew up in a time where there were very few LBGTQ books and I felt very much an anomaly. I heard great things about this book and wanted to read it. I found the book to be written super simply and not adding much to the conversation. I am glad it exists but it was super simplistic and it really doesn’t add much to the conversations around transitioning. It might be a great book for a kid just starting to figure out who they are. I left this book in a free library in a public space in hopes it gets read by someone who needs the message.
