Product Description:

As your soil temps begin to creep up to 50 degrees, your lawn and all of its glory are beginning to slowly open its eyes. Along with those sleepy blades of grass, crabgrass and other weeds are also getting ready to take off running. It’s time to seize the moment and head them off at the pass, all the while feeding the lawn a little wake-up juice! This Spring Value Bundle is loaded with the tools to do just that. Here’s a bit about each product: 

• 7-0-20 Stress Blend lawn fertilizer. 7-0-20 Stress Blend is high in potassium, which helps warm-season lawns recover from a long winter. It also contains chelated iron and water-soluble manganese and zinc - you will not find these in any store-bought fertilizer. Stress Blend is also spiked with all-natural Bio-Nite to encourage soil life and build soil quality.
• 0-0-7 Prodiamine: pre-emergent weed control. This pre-emergent is designed to stop weeds such as crabgrass, bittercress, and signal grass in the lawn. 
• 0-0-1 Humic12: liquid soil treatment. This liquid bio-stimulant is great for root growth, chlorophyll content, nutrient uptake, soil structure, water retention, and plant quality.
• 0-0-1 RGS: root growth stimulant. And that’s exactly what it does. This bio-stimulant is packed with hormones from sea kelp that stimulate roots and stolons/rhizomes coupled with chelating humic and fulvic.

These four products work together to prevent crabgrass and awaken your soil this spring! By bundling these products together, we are able to pass along significant savings over purchasing separately.

Application Information:

Prodiamine pre-emergent is a granular application. The bag covers up to 6,000 sq ft. It needs to be watered in, so it’s okay to apply a day or two before the rain. If rain is not in the forecast, you will want to water it with 1/2” of irrigation. Be sure to get this done within 48 hours of application. We want this product to get into the soil where it will work to prevent weeds.

Note: Your lawn may be dormant in early spring, but it’s still ok to put Prodiamine down. We want it to be in and watered prior to weeds growing.

7-0-20 Stress Blend should be applied whenever you start mowing for the season. Once your lawn begins to grow, apply your Stress Blend. 7-0-20 Stress Blend and Prodiamine can be applied on the same day. Make 2 separate applications; do not mix them in the spreader together… but applying on the same day is just fine.

You also will have Humic12 and RGS bio-stimulants. These can be applied on top of the Prodiamine and Stress Blend,  then watered in together, or applied on separate days, whichever you prefer.

Using the bio-stimulants with the empty hose end sprayer will allow you to get more than 1 application out of each 32oz bottle. You will find that the more you work on the lawn, the more often you are going to want to “apply something” to it. These bio-stimulants are great for that!
