Caroline is a vigorous red ever bearing raspberry known for its exceptional sweet rich flavor, large size, and high yields. Caroline has the largest berries of all fall bearing varieties. It has better root rot and yellow rust resistance than Heritage, and ripens 2 weeks earlier than Heritage. Caroline grows even in the warm conditions of the south where the berries ripen as early as June. Good heat and humidity tolerance. Great for Farmers Market, Fruit Stand growers, and Backyard gardeners. 

Grows in USDA zones 4-9.

Live rooted potted plants...not bare root canes or bare root plants. Grown in soil less planting mix from rootstock  We can ship to all states. Since these plants are fully rooted potted plants, they will grow quickly to about 3+ feet tall this year.

Will produce berries in the Fall or Spring depending on how they are managed. 

Shipped dormant without leaves in fall and winter and with leaves in spring and summer.

Available in 2 sizes...  

Starter plants. 6-10 inches tall in 2 inch cell/pot. Pots removed for shipping.

1-2 year old plants. 5 1/2 inch deep pot. Plants will be pruned to fit into a 24 or 36 inch shipping box.

1-2 Year Old Potted Plants ships on Monday or Tuesday UPS 3 Day Select. 

Free Shipping to most locations. We cannot ship larger boxes or 2 year old plants to AK, HI, APO, US Territories, or areas considered remote without a freight surcharge. Starter plants ship Free Priority Mail.

If your temperature is warmer than 89 degrees or colder than 20 degrees, we will hold order until temperature improves. Please put your desired ship date in Special Instructions to Seller at checkout.

All plants are inspected for quality prior to shipment. Plants are rarely damaged in shipping, but if they are, please let us know right away so we can help. If there is any plant damage, take a photo of the package and plants. This will help us solve the problem.
