The Journey usually starts with each Palm-Tapper harvesting the Palm Sap early in the morning each day and collecting it. The harvested Palm-Sap is boiled under firewood slowly to caramelize it. Once thickened, it is continuously stirred by hand for hours to get it into powdery form.
