Fenestraria or "Baby Toes" are unusual plants. They originate from the deserts of South Africa and belong to the large family of Aizoaceae. These varieties includes plants known as "Mimicry" plants for their ability to camouflage with their environment.
Fenestraria have finger-like leaves in upright clusters. On each "finger" it has a translucent window, and it is through this window that the strong sunlight is filtered to enable photosynthesis. In a habitat like the desert it is very often only these windows that are visible above the sand.
In late summer through fall "Baby Toes" will bloom profusely, offering bright 2-inch yellow, daisy-like flowers.
Plants may be shipped bare root.

Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch then let drain completely. -

As with all stuffed toys, supervision is needed.
I have a 6 month old standard size Golden Doodle who has gone through several raccoon toys. He loves their tails and to make them squeak. He knows the word raccoon, so when the last one “died”, I had to get another. This one is well made and has a magnificent tail. It did not take long, however, for Marvin to amputate two of the raccoon’s feet and pull the stuffing out. Luckily, I was able to get it from him before he swallowed any, and was able to sew up the injuries and return it to him for another round of play. I do not expect more from a stuffed toy, but I do not leave my dog alone with one and accept that supervision is always necessary. This raccoon is charming and when it “dies” I will probably buy it again. Five stars!

My Cardigan Corgi loves this toy!
