The Dracaena 'Lime Light' (Dracaena fragrans 'Limelight') is a show-stopping tropical houseplant beloved for its "electric" neon foliage. This plant is native to the tropical regions of Africa, where it thrives in the humid understory of rainforests.
Unlike other Dracaena varieties that feature stripes or variegation, 'Lime Light' is famous for its solid, glossy, chartreuse-green leaves that can brighten even the dimmest corners of a room.
Like its cousin the Corn Plant, it is scientifically recognized for its ability to filter indoor air toxins, specifically benzene, formaldehyde, and trichloroethylene. It is incredibly "unfussy." It is drought-tolerant and can handle the lower humidity levels typically found in modern homes, though it appreciates occasional misting.
