Slug nematodes (Phasmarhabditis californica) are microscopic worms that naturally target slugs in the soil. When applied, the nematodes seek out slugs, enter their bodies, and feed from within.

Within a few days the slugs stop feeding and die shortly after. Safe for use around pets, children, and wildlife, these nematodes for slugs in UK gardens offer a simple, chemical-free way to protect plants.

How Nematodes for Slugs Work in the Soil

Slug nematodes occur naturally in soil but in low numbers. By applying additional nematodes, you increase their presence and quickly reduce slug populations. Once inside the slug, the nematodes feed and multiply, spreading to other slugs in the area. This breaks the slug life cycle and helps protect your plants from root and leaf damage.

When to Apply Nematodes for Slugs in UK Gardens

For best results, apply nematode slug control every six weeks during the growing season when soil is moist and above 5ºC. Starting treatment before planting gives protection as young plants establish. Applications can continue through spring, summer, and autumn to maintain control and reduce future slug problems.

Sizes Available for Nematodes for Slugs UK

Slug nematodes are available in different pack sizes to suit your garden. Options include packs for 40 square metres and 100 square metres.

Why Choose Nematode Slug Control for Your Garden

Using nematodes for slugs offers a natural way to protect ornamental plants, fruit, and vegetables. They are safe for wildlife, pollinators, pets, and children while remaining highly targeted against slugs. With repeat use through the season, you can reduce slug populations and enjoy healthier plants.

How to Apply Slug Nematodes Around Plants

The nematodes come with full instructions and can be applied using a watering can or nematode applicator. Apply to moist soil when the soil temperature is above 5ºC (41ºF) and ensure the soil does not dry out for at least two weeks after application.

Nematodes are capable of surviving the odd frost, so don't worry if the temperature falls after application.

Please note: these are a live product with an expiry date of around two weeks and are non-returnable. Use the whole pack before the expiry date. Best applied: Feb/March – October.

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

A good read
Format: Kindle
A good read, just fluffy cuteness, no antagonism. I like all the characters. It could have used another round of editing however, glanfds being one error that cracked me up, and my personal pet peeve was that the author kept using the word fill instead of feel, which I promise you are not interchangeable haha, but it's definitely better than the majority of books I read on here mistake-wise.

amazing
Format: Kindle
Knot the Bride was a fantastic read! The characters were all amazing and well-developed. It was easy to like them all. Sophia, Luca, Nick, and Gavin were all perfect for each other. It was such a charming story that had me hooked the entire time. I did wish there were POVs from Luca, Nick, and Gavin but it was still an amazing book without it. I am excited to read the next book in the Willowside Omegaverse series! This is definitely a must-read for fans of omegaverse romance!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

3 Star Read,
Format: Kindle
This book wasn't bad, but wasn't my cup of tea. It's highly disappointing because the storyline is so original. There is no real conflict or resolution, so the entire thing feels flat. As a lover of omegaverse books, I know there is a ton of variety out there, and ov is really up to the author. But this one is weird. Omegas have multiple scent glands all over their bodies and go into week long heats every month. Alphas have knots in the middle of their shaft instead of the base, and the knot doesn't always swell, no explanation of when or why. It doesn't engage at all when the mouth is in play. I also didn't enjoy the author's writing style. Each paragraph is only 1 or 2 sentences long, and the entire book reads very stacato. The conversations are stiff and unnatural feeling. Everything is very repetitive, both in word choice and in thought. The same thing is repeated 3 or 4 times over a single page, multiple times over. I ended up doing so much skimming. The first 50% of the book is all slow burn, and the last 50% is almost straight mediocre spice. This wouldn't have been all bad if the grammar and spelling errors didn't start at the exact same time. Tongue is repeatedly misspelled in the middle of the spice.

Cozy Omegaverse
Format: Kindle
This is the true definition of Cozy Omegaverse. LA wedding coordinator meets her pack at the location for a couple’s destination wedding. Low angst because they are scent matched high heat with heats and knots. Everything you love about this genre with very little anxiety. Simply a fun experience to read and a book I will comeback to when I’m in a slump. I simply love reading this book
