How to use WOW Wonder Brew
Quick brew method: Tear open one “activator” packet, add to 3 - 5 gallons of warm water (this helps to wake up the microbes) and stir in. Squeeze one 80 gram nylon compost tea bag several times, add to water and give it a good mix without breaking the tea bag. Tea is then ready to apply!
Tea Brewer: Before use, make sure your compost tea brewer is clean!
For an 80 gram tea bag, use 3 - 5 gallons of non-chlorinated warm water when brewed in a WOW Wonder Brewer, other compost tea brewer or pail with air stone.
For a 500 gram tea bag, use 20-25 gallons of water in a WOW Wonder Brewer, other compost tea brewer, or pail with air stone.
If your water supply contains chlorine, run the brewer for 30 minutes before adding ingredients.
Tear open one “activator” packet and add to water. Squeeze one nylon compost tea bag several times, and add to tea brewer. Turn on brewer and allow to brew up to 48 hours for best results. After brew has completed and oxygenation has ceased, use within 8 hours. Maintaining water temperature between 60 - 70 degrees during the brewing process is ideal. Clean brewer thoroughly when done.
In the Garden: Pour Wonder Brew at full strength around the base of each plant. Apply 2 – 3 cups of brew around the base of each plant. Follow with a thorough watering to work the tea down into the root zone. Apply every 7 – 10 days.
Container Gardening:
1 - 3 gallon container 1 - 2 cups
5 - 7 gallon container 3 - 4 cups
10 - 20 gallon container 5 - 8 cups
25 - 50 gallon container 1/2 gallon - 1 gallon
100 gallon container 2 - 3 gallons
Follow with a thorough watering to work the tea down into the root zone. Apply every 7 – 10 days.
WOW Wonder Brew can be diluted at a maximum rate of 1 gallon of tea for every 10 gallons of water.
Hydroponic Systems: Apply Wonder Brew 24 hours before reservoir change. Running Wonder Brew in a hydroponic system for prolonged periods is not recommended. Add Wonder Brew at the rate of 1 - 2 gallons for every 10 gallons of water, alone or with nutrient solution. Use Wonder Brew throughout the growing season up to 1 week prior to harvest.
For best results, use in conjunction with WOW Super Starter Paks and WOW Soil and Plant Booster.
