Philodendron Pink Princess Black Cherry Galaxy: A Bold Twist on a Classic Beauty

The Philodendron Pink Princess Black Cherry Galaxy elevates the popular Pink Princess variety with a stunning deep black-cherry hue that creates a dramatic contrast with its pink and green variegation. A rare find, this beauty is perfect for those seeking an eye-catching, low-maintenance tropical plant that will become the centerpiece of any indoor garden. If you're searching for premium houseplants with unique coloration, this is a must-have variety.

What Makes the Pink Princess Black Cherry Galaxy Unique:

  • Bold Color Contrast: The deep black-cherry tones combined with pink and green variegation make this variety truly one-of-a-kind.
  • Perfect for Rare Plant Collectors: A rare and highly sought-after variety for those looking for rare indoor plants.

Day 1 — Unboxing the cosmos
Set Black Cherry Galaxy where bright, diffused daylight is steady—an east window, a luminous north exposure, or behind sheer curtains. You’ll notice the signature inky to chocolate-green base washed with blush-to-cherry pink sectors and a dusting of fine speckles that read like starlight. The crown is self-heading (upright), so it stages cleanly on a pedestal or console without immediate staking.

Week 2 — Settling into orbit
By now the plant has mapped your light. Keep the rhythm simple: when the top 2–3 cm (≈1 in) of mix dries, soak and fully drain. Choose an oxygen-forward aroid blend—chunky orchid bark (structure), coco/coir (even moisture), pumice or perlite (airflow), plus a touch of horticultural charcoal and a light sphagnum buffer. This airy substrate preserves crisp edges on pale panels and supports smooth unfurls on the long, tapered blades.

Month 2 — Pattern clarity, tighter spacing
Consistency shows. In well-lit rooms, internodes stay compact and the pink reads saturated against that dark ground—sometimes with galaxy-like freckles scattered across the lamina. If you want a taller, slimmer silhouette, guide the central stem to a slim moss pole, coco totem, or flat board and secure every node; leaves broaden and the outline sharpens. Prefer a fuller crown? Allow a second growth point and tip-prune lightly to encourage branching.

Season 1 — Styling the scene

  • Planter language: Matte stoneware in oatmeal, ecru, sand, or charcoal frames both cherry pink and deep foliage without glare.
  • Backdrop & materials: Limewash, pale timber, microcement, or honed stone invite soft, dimensional shadows. Side-light at golden hour paints a fine highlight down each midrib and makes the speckles pop.
  • Companions: Pair with a velvety Anthurium (plush contrast), a silver-washed Scindapsus (cool foil), or a deep green Monstera behind it to amplify the dark-vs-pink dialogue.

Year 1 — A composed, collectible column
With disciplined light, the plant matures into a poised, upright feature that holds color through the year. Keep climate inside the comfort band 18–29 °C (65–85 °F) with ~50–65% RH and gentle airflow away from heater/AC streams. Feed lightly at ¼–½ strength in active months; brightness (not heavy nutrients) is what intensifies pink. Rotate a quarter-turn weekly so each new leaf faces the best light pocket.

Tune-Ups — Signals → Adjustments

  • Pink shrinking / more green than you want: Increase total hours of bright, filtered light and orient the newest leaf toward that window. After several all-green leaves, tip-prune above a node showing variegation to encourage a patterned leader.
  • Browning on pale sections: Typically late watering or harsh sun; tighten cadence and diffuse midday rays.
  • Leggy gaps: Raise even brightness and consider guiding onto a slim support for tighter internodes.
  • Mix wet for days: Add bark/pumice or step down a pot size to restore oxygen exchange.
  • Edges curling inward: Root zone likely too dry—provide a deep drink, then resume your normal rhythm.

Dramatic, camera-ready leaves with black-cherry depth and starry pink‘Pink Princess – Black Cherry Galaxy’ turns consistent, filtered light into a collectible statement that stays modern and composed.

Why call it "Grovel" when there is no actual groveling?
Format: Kindle
I'm so confused by this story. The title of the book is Grovel and yet the MMCs do not do any groveling at all. They reject her, say mean/cruel things to her and break her heart, but then do nothing to make up for it when she comes back to town. I couldn't stand Frost; the way that he treated her, and women in general, the things that he said to her just gave no reason for why he should be forgiven or be allowed back into Noelle's life. The interactions with Robin and Shepard were a little better, but nothing about this story showed me why she should forgive them and get back together with them. This was a good premise, but very poor execution of a story line. I felt bad for Noelle and what she had been through with these men, but wanted better for her and wished that she could have found a different pack that would actually treat her right and not blame her for the choices that their mother made. In the end, this book just wasn't for me. I liked the character of Nana, I even liked Noelle's parents and felt bad for what Noelle had to deal with, but I just didn't care for the supposed romance that this book was about. Maybe others will enjoy it, but I'll probably pass on any other stories from this author. I gave it 2.75 stars, but rounded up since Amazon doesn't allow partial stars.

The grovel wasn’t groveling.
Format: Kindle
Oh no, if you’re going to promise grovel, you better deliver. And unfortunately… this one fumbled the assignment. Three Alphas who rejected their scent match, broke her heart, and let her walk away for ten years, only to realize she was “the one suddenly”? I was ready for emotional devastation and tearful, knees-in-the-snow apologies. But here’s the problem: the grovel just didn’t hit hard enough. For a betrayal that deep, the emotional payoff felt rushed. The Alphas express regret, sure, but it never quite reaches that gut-wrenching, ache-for-it level you expect from a story built entirely on redemption. Their apologies come, but they lack the prolonged suffering, the desperate proving, the earn it or lose her forever energy that would’ve made this unforgettable. After ten years of heartbreak and abandonment, Noelle's forgiveness comes a little too easily, a little too quickly. You can feel the story nudging her toward reconciliation before the emotional scales are fully balanced. The chemistry is still there, the tension still simmers, and the small-town winter vibes are undeniably cozy, but for a book titled Grovel, the emotional reckoning needed to be deeper, messier, and far more punishing. A compelling setup with plenty of angst and longing, but if you’re here for hardcore grovel and slow-earned forgiveness, this one might leave you wanting more.

Christmas fluff
Format: Kindle
This is a super cute sweet and fluffy sort of story, no OTW no angst a little bit of sadness some reject but you know in the end they come back together as a better stronger pack.
