The best potting mix for anthuriums is one that is loose , light and chunky. It should have high drainage capability, yet it should still be able to maintain the right amount of moisture to enable the roots to absorb nutrients. This balance of moisture and drainage must be achieved in order to avoid water-logged roots that often cause rotting.

Like all our potting media, our Anthurium Potting Mix is soil-less. We do not add garden soil or any type of soil because soil becomes sticky or compacted, which eventually leads to root decay.
