Joan Senior Daylily
'Joan Senior' is one of the best near white daylilies ever created. These large, 6" blooms on scapes over 2' tall in our East Tennessee garden will take your breath away.
It has outstanding form and reliable bloomability—Joan Senior just keeps on blooming throughout the season! A customer favorite as well as one of ours.
As an early to mid season bloomer, we begin to see the crisp and stunning blooms of Joan Senior around the first of June. If you live to our north, you'll see them a bit after we do. If you live to our south, you'll notice them a couple of weeks before us. Nice rebloom means you get to see these beauties off and on throughout the season.
Joan Senior is a evergreen daylily. That means it is best grown in areas that receive a sustained winter cold period like those in zones 8 and lower.
These pearly blooms look fantastic when planted with any color in the garden, but really show off their creaminess when paired with shining yellow or bold gold daylilies.
