It flourishes on upright, freely branching plants reaching 75–90 cm (30–36″) tall and 60–75 cm (24–30″) wide, providing spectacular bold color from mid-summer into early fall. Fragrant and long-blooming, these flowers are excellent for cut bouquets and shift gracefully into dried arrangements, while their seedheads feed finches and other birds through winter.
