Thus, we have formulated our Alocasia Potting Mix to provide good drainage and aeration while it can still retain moisture. This is done by selecting high quality ingredients. Peat moss, coco chunks and coco peat help in moisture retention, yet they provide aeration because of their light texture. Perlite, pumice, pine bark and clay pebbles provide additional air pockets while allowing excess water to drain properly.

Like all our potting media, our Alocasia Mix is soil-less. We do not add garden soil or any type of soil because soil becomes sticky or compacted, which eventually leads to root decay.
