Philodendron Joepii is a rare species of Philodendron that requires some effort to find in the house plant hobby. This Philodendron features tri-lobed leaves with a pointed tip. It is commonly compared to Philodendron 69686, but tends to have a thinner profile with features that are more exaggerated. Primary coloration is a rich green tone that remains fairly stable from youth to maturity. Philodendron Joepii offers the houseplant enthusiast or rare aroid collector unique foliage and is sure to be a statement piece in any group. LIke most Philodendron, Philodendron Joepii does best in well-aerated growing mixes in environments that are preferably higher in humidity.

In the wild, Philodendron are fantastic climbers and will appreciate a sturdy moss pole to climb on and traverse. When provided with optimal conditions, Philodendron put out aerial roots that may be air-layered for safe propagation once mature. We recommend providing Philodendron Joepii with bright, indirect lighting. This can be in the form of indoor lighting with units like the ONF Aditya Plant Lamp or in a southern exposure.
