They have stiff internodes giving them a more geometric look than other vines, and their fast growth is matched by the quickness in which cuttings can be rooted into new plants. Like many fast growing vines they benefit from a hard pruning right before the spring growing season. Typically they like strong indirect light with no direct sun, which can easily bleach the leaves. During the growing season they can be very thirsty, and should be watered thoroughly before almost drying out completely.
