The design detail of this pot comes in the style of the rim, the double "ruffle" ornamated rim is a traditional flower pot style made in Cornwall England.  Many of the 19th century immigrants to Wisconsin were from Cornwall, they settled near the town of Galena IL which had rich soil and perfect pottery making conditions.  They brought their traditions and design style to the region for perfect garden pottery.

Each Garden Pot in this collection is hand thrown by Potters in Honduras, through a long standing relationship with Wakefield Handmade we have collaborated with these talented artisans to hand make each of our beautiful pots.
