Monstera Deliciosa features large, heart-shaped leaves. As the plant matures, the leaves get splits and eventually holes. It’s a perfect plant for anyone looking to add some bold foliage into their room. It’s an avid grower and you’ll find yourself trimming it regularly or else it will take over your apartment.
Monstera loves to climb and if you’ll let her, she will produce more mature foliage quicker.
The plant is about 75cm and it comes in a plastic nursery pot size 17cm.
Care Tips:
* Light: Thrives in bright to medium indirect light. Not suited for intense, direct sun but can be acclimated to withstand it.
* Water: Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.
* Monsteras can benefit from filtered water or leaving water out overnight before using.
* Humidity: Normal room humidity will do, but prefers humid conditions if possible.
* Additional Care: Large leaves can collect dust. If you notice the leaves are dirty or dusty, wipe the leaves with a damp cloth and gently dry to keep them clean and healthy.
Toxicity: Monstera leaves are mildly toxic to pets and humans. Typically, ingestion will cause mouth and stomach irritation and possible vomiting.
