In mid-summer the clumps are topped with clusters of small yellow flowers held just above the foliage. While Sedum takesimense 'Atlantis' will grow in full sun in colder climates, it's best in only morning sun or open shade in hotter summer climates. Sedum takesimense is also not a desert plant, so while good drainage is important, so is adequate moisture.
