Areca Vestiaria var. Árbol rojo 'Palmera al Atardecer'
Hábitat y Distribución: Endémica de las selvas tropicales de Indonesia.
Descripción: Esta hermosa palmera varía desde una planta de copa profusamente roja con hojas granates hasta una versión naranja de un solo tronco con hojas verdes y todo lo demás. Se ha observado que existe una variación sustancial de color según la elevación, y las plantas más coloridas provienen de elevaciones más altas. Puede crecer hasta 20 pies de alto y 5 a 10 pies de ancho.
Cultura: Aunque crece bastante lentamente, Areca vestiaria es fácil de cultivar y puede sobrevivir a temperaturas tan bajas como 40 grados F. Esta especie prospera en sombra parcial y prefiere suelos ricos, ligeramente ácidos y bien drenados. A esta impresionante palmera no le gusta secarse entre riegos y se desarrolla mejor en suelos constantemente húmedos.

Suprisingly good quality and a great looking jacket
I have been searching for a ring master jacket for a circus themed gala where I will be the Auctioneer/Ring Master. All the other jackets I looked at were either cheap costume stuff or just looked a little too much military Hussar style with all of the added gold tassels. This has just the right class and definitely the right look. I was worried it would fit weird or just not be constructed well but I could not be any happier with this jacket- the sleeves are a perfect length when my arms hang at my side, as is the high waist cut and the length of the tails are also just right- and best of all the sequins really shine.
I spent my career in the circus and the performing arts and this would have been more than acceptable on stage for someone to wear as a ring master or to look fancy and sparkly, assuming nobody will be standing on your shoulders and popping off your sequins. It is comfortable to wear, although I would not say it allows for full range of motion relative to a costume I would have actually worn in a circus while doing acrobatics. But that would be a totally hand made costume with flexible material and 4-10x the price.
Overall it cannot be beat for your average wearer!

Well Made, Runs A Little Small
I bought this on short notice for a drag show. I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but it exceeded my expectations in a lot of ways. The interior feels like the inside of a standard suit coat, and is comfortable for long term wear. The sequins are sewn on in a pattern, and there's little, if any, fallout. I've only found a couple sequins on the floor.
I've used it a lot since the drag show, for a lot of things (live streams, videos, etc). Absolutely worth the price, and I've already gotten my money's worth out of it.
It does run a little small, but it still mostly fits according to the size chart.
A few notes:
- It doesn't have button holes, so if you're looking for something that buttons up, look elsewhere.
- Washing instructions say to machine wash cool, warm iron (do not tumble dry, do not dry clean). I'd say run it on the gentlest cycle you can muster, or just spot clean stains and the pits (if you're sweaty). I don't know how well this thing would survive a wash, but I haven't needed to wash it yet.

Showstopper
We got so many compliments on our outfits. I wore this for our Daddy/Daughter dance and plan to take it on a cruise later this year. The jacket is great quality and a little on the heavy side with all the sequins. It fit perfect in the shoulders and chest. It was a little long on the sleeves for my taste but I just tucked them under and managed for the night. For reference I’m 5’10” tall and 175lbs with athletic build. I bought a large.
