Native to Europe and Asia, the Mint julep lavender plant forms dense, bushy clumps of vibrant green, lance-shaped leaves that release a sweet, cool fragrance when crushed.

The foliage has a subtle hint of lavender aroma, which gives the plant its name and distinguishes it from common spearmint or peppermint.

The leaves grow in opposite pairs along square stems. When grown in beds or containers, this herb can reach 24 inches tall and spread up to 3 feet wide, resulting in a lush carpet of greenery.

Like other mint hybrids, it does not grow true from seed but spreads rapidly through underground rhizomes.

During summer, Lavender Mint Julep produces delicate spikes of pale purple to lavender-pink flowers, which attract bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators. Though the flowers are small, they add a subtle charm and accent to herb gardens and borders. 

When it comes to Lavender mint julep plant care, it prefers moist, rich, and well-drained soil, opens in a new tab with a slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0–7.0). Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Mint thrives in damp environments and should not be allowed to dry out completely. During hot summer months, water regularly, especially when growing in containers.  

Outdoors, this mint enjoys full sun to partial shade, ideally 4–6 hours of sunlight per day. In very hot climates, light afternoon shade prevents the leaves from scorching. Indoors, place it near a bright east- or south-facing window where it receives filtered light. 

Lavender Mint Julep grows best in temperatures between 55°F and 75°F and is hardy in USDA Zones 5–9.

In colder regions, it can be overwintered indoors or in greenhouses. Fertilize once a year during spring and summer with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer (10-10-10). 

Regular pruning or pinching encourages bushier growth and prevents flowering, which can cause leaves to lose some of their flavor. Trim back stems by one-third in midsummer to promote regrowth and keep the plant compact. 

One of the most unique aspects of this mint variety is its refreshing yet smooth aroma, which combines the cool sharpness of peppermint with the gentle sweetness of lavender. This makes it a popular choice not only for beverages and desserts but also for potpourri, essential oil distillation, and herbal infusions. I wanted a nice magsafe charge/holder for my phone and I tried this one and so far, it's great. Pros: - It has a really nice-looking LED behind the magsafe holder which glows nicely, as you see in the pic. - The plastic feels good, strong and (hopefully) not plastic that degrades and becomes brittle. - The rubber bumpers which hold it in place under the mount against your display seem well-placed. - It's fully adjustable between positions wherever you wish to mount it. - You can mount your phone either above or to the side of the display on any corner which provides nice flexibility. - I found it best on the upper right because on the left, the steering wheel obscures the phone and the two bottom corners aren't useful to me. - The little knobs work well to hold it in place and tighten nicely. Cons: - The only problem is how the design has the cable visible and sticking out when it could have easily been designed to integrate into the little arm so it's hidden. As it is, the ugly, out of place and avoidable USB-C cable is visible which I don't like. - You can rotate the holder to make the USB-C cable appear in front of the arm holder so it's less visible but it should have been avoided with a simple design modification and integrated USB cable for a more streamlined appearance. In any case, this is a nice addition to my Model 3 Performance to hold my phone while I drive, out of the way while still charging. Try one. M

Not a super fast charger but convenient.

Works well with induction-compatible iPhones. It's great with a iPhone 14 Pro. It will also charge a 16e, although the 16e is not equipped with MagSafe--that's just the magnet that holds the charger on. The 16e must be placed on top of the charger and carefully positioned for it to work. In my tests the charger drew about 1.7A @ 9V, for a total of about 10W. How much of this is absorbed by the phone is unknown, but probably most of it. this is not a super fast charge, but fine if you're leaving it for the night. The phone and charger do get warm, so some power is wasted. The heat is not a problem, though, since the phone gets warm when plugged in via the Lightning port, too. Some reviewers have mentioned tha the charger is rounded which means you can't leave the phone+charger on a surface. There is a flat spot on the charger, and I have no problem leaving the phone charge overnight. I find the cable long enough to reach the charger plugged into the wall near the floor, but that depends on your situation. Of course, if it's not long enough, there's not much you can do but move things around!

Solid Anker quality, but listing needs actual dimensions

Charging works exactly as you'd expect from Anker. 15W MagSafe-compatible, grips the back of the phone firmly, no heat issues, no drop-offs during overnight charging. Zero complaints on function. My gripe is with the listing, not the product. I was building this into a 3D-printed nightstand dock and needed the exact diameter and thickness to model the recess. Amazon's listing doesn't give you those dimensions, so I spent way too long digging through Q&A and other reviews piecing it together from people who measured theirs with calipers. For a product that people absolutely do integrate into custom mounts, cases, and furniture, leaving out basic physical dimensions is a miss. Weight isn't listed either, which matters if you're mounting it. Fix the listing and this is a 5-star. Compact enough once you have it in hand, plays nicely with a standard USB-C PD brick (not included, worth noting), and compatibility with my MagSafe case was seamless. Included accessories are just the charger and cable, so plan on supplying your own wall adapter. Trust the Anker name, just wish the product page respected buyers enough to publish the measurements.
