Sowing Information:
- Sowing Time: 12-16 weeks before the last frost date for spring planting.
- Seed Depth: Sow seeds at a depth of 1/8 inch (3 mm).
- Temperature: Maintain a soil temperature of 70–75°F (21–24°C) for optimal germination.
- Light Requirements: Germinate in light; do not cover seeds completely.
- Germination Time: 5–7 days under ideal conditions.
- Growing On: After germination, maintain daytime temperatures of 65–70°F (18–21°C) and nighttime temperatures of 55–60°F (13–16°C). Provide adequate light to prevent stretching.
- Transplanting: Transplant seedlings when true leaves develop, typically 4–6 weeks after sowing.
