Will continue to make new pads and form a multibranched plant in time. Fortunately this species has only a few glochids (the little spines all Opuntia have) and can generally be handled without getting them stuck in your fingers. Easy to grow. Likes lots of light and well drained soil. Water when nearly dry. Hardy to at least zone 5 (probably zone 4) but make sure to acclimate your plant

Likes lots of light and well drained soil. Water when nearly dry. Hardy to at least zone 5 (probably zone 4) but make sure to acclimate your plant during the fall so it can harden off properly.
You will receive a plant shown in the last image or one similar. Plant shown in a 3.5" pot. Plants are rooted cuttings.
