Each bunch contains 30 to 40 plants, perfect for filling your pantry with homegrown onions. This globe-shaped red onion with sweet, mild flavor tastes delicious fresh in salads or sliced to top a burger, roasted with meats, grilled on kebabs, or diced for salsa. The easy-to-grow plant produces medium-to-large, pretty red bulbs that add vibrant color to recipes. Onions need full sunlight to produce bulbs. This short-day variety means that it's an ideal onion to plant in fall in southern climates for harvest in late spring. Keep bulbs cool and dry until you can plant, up to 3 weeks. Separate onion plants from the bunch, spacing them 6 inches apart, and grow in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. Onions grow well in raised beds or in-ground gardens. The tops reach 12 to 18 inches tall, and bulbs mature in 100 to 110 days. With proper conditions, Sweet Red Onions store well for about 3+ months after harvest. Be sure to water your plant when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch, and feed it regularly with Miracle-Gro® plant food. Grabs Your Attention from the Start

Well written and definitely grabs and keeps your attention. I read it in one sitting. So did my mom and sister. Just a warning, this book did trigger some anxiety for me because of the fire. It uses actual street names and timeframes. We love to read the “I Survived” series to my son and this one was better in my opinion but I have ties to Paradise.
