• Chick Charms Giant Copper Canyon forms a large rosette with long leaves in rich copper red tones mixed with hints of lime green. The colors become deeper and more vibrant in full sun, while shadier conditions bring out more green in the foliage. Its bold size and warm colors make it an excellent centerpiece in rock gardens or outdoor containers.                                                                                                                                 
  This variety grows mainly in spring and summer and produces offsets, often called “chicks,” on short stolons around the base. Over time, these offsets form a dense cluster of rosettes. They can be left to create a full mat or separated and replanted to grow new plants. It grows best outdoors in sunny locations with gritty, well-draining soil.
