Pollinators love it, but deer and rabbits avoid it, so it's a good choice if wildlife tends to snack on your flowers. Plant in areas with well-draining (including rocky or poor) soils that receive at least six hours per day. Do not mulch soil and leave room between plants for good air circulation. Cut back in spring once new growth appears. Harvest stems for drying just before flowers open.
