The water content is especially important when taking care of palms, as they prefer dry soil or sandy soil and do not like wet feet. This provides the best environment for spreading roots to grow.
How to Fertilize Palm Trees:
Mix 2 tablespoons per gallon of water. Apply this fertilizer weekly during the active growth seasons of spring and summer. Scale back to every 3-4 weeks during fall and winter.
