Triple Crown T&O Insecticide combines three proven active ingredients—zeta-cypermethrin, bifenthrin, and imidacloprid—in one professional turf and ornamental insecticide. With both Group 3 pyrethroid chemistry and Group 4A neonicotinoid chemistry, Triple Crown T&O provides broad-spectrum control of listed above-ground and below-ground pests in lawns, landscaped areas, parks, recreational areas, athletic fields, and around residential, institutional, public, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Triple Crown T&O is designed for broadcast or spot treatment applications where fast contact activity and extended pest control are needed. It is labeled for a wide range of turf pests, including armyworms, cutworms, sod webworms, annual bluegrass weevil adults, billbug adults, chinch bugs, crane flies, mole crickets, imported fire ants, ticks, fleas, and many common ornamental pests on trees, shrubs, evergreens, foliage plants, and ground covers.

Features & Benefits

Combines zeta-cypermethrin, bifenthrin, and imidacloprid to provide three active ingredients in one professional insecticide

Includes both Group 3 and Group 4A insecticide chemistry, giving applicators broader activity than single-active products

Controls listed turf pests including armyworms, cutworms, sod webworms, annual bluegrass weevil adults, billbug adults, chinch bugs, crane flies, mole crickets, fleas, ticks, and imported fire ants

Labeled for lawns, landscaped areas, parks, recreational areas, athletic fields, and building perimeter areas for flexible outdoor pest control

Useful where both surface-feeding and thatch or soil-associated pests are present, reducing the need to manage multiple separate insecticide products

Labeled for ornamental applications on trees, shrubs, evergreens, foliage plants, and ground covers to help protect landscape plantings from listed insect and mite pests

Higher labeled rates may be used when heavy pest pressure exists or maximum residual control is desired

Labeled Use Sites

Triple Crown T&O is labeled for use on lawns and landscaped areas around residential, institutional, public, commercial, and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas, and athletic fields. It may also be used as a broadcast or spot treatment outdoors, including areas surrounding residential, institutional, public, commercial, and industrial buildings.

For ornamental applications, Triple Crown T&O is labeled for use on trees, shrubs, evergreens, foliage plants, and ground covers. It is not for use on plants being grown for sale or other commercial use, commercial seed production, research purposes, golf courses, sod farms, nurseries, commercial greenhouses, or grass grown for seed.

Target Pests

Triple Crown T&O is labeled for listed turf and ornamental pests including armyworms, cutworms, sod webworms, annual bluegrass weevil adults, banks grass mite, billbug adults, black turfgrass ataenius adults, centipedes, crickets, earwigs, adult fleas, flea larvae, grasshoppers, leafhoppers, mealybugs, millipedes, mites, pillbugs, sowbugs, ants, black vine weevil adults, chinch bugs, crane flies, European chafer, frit fly, green June beetle, May or June beetles, imported fire ants, Japanese beetle adults, northern and southern masked chafers, adult mole crickets, mole cricket nymphs, stink bugs, ticks, beet armyworms, broad mites, budworms, scale crawlers, citrus thrips, clover mites, Diaprepes adults, bagworms, adelgids, aphids, lace bugs, leaf beetles, elm leaf beetles, viburnum leaf beetles, glassy-winged sharpshooter, psyllids, sawfly larvae, thrips, treehoppers, whiteflies, fall webworms, gypsy moth caterpillars, leaf-feeding caterpillars, tent caterpillars, European red mites, flea beetles, adult fungus gnats, mosquitoes, orchid weevils, pine needle scale crawlers, plant bugs, San Jose scale crawlers, spider mites, tip moths, twig borers, and wasps.

Application Notes

For turf applications, Triple Crown T&O may be applied at labeled rates from 0.23 to 0.80 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft., depending on the target pest. The label allows use up to 0.80 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. when heavy pest populations exist or maximum residual control is desired.

For armyworms, cutworms, and sod webworms, delay watering or mowing for 24 hours after application to support optimum control. For low-volume applications targeting sub-surface pests such as mole crickets, irrigate treated areas with at least 0.25 inches of water immediately after application. For mole cricket applications, watering in with up to 0.5 inches of water immediately after treatment is recommended.

For ornamental foliar applications, apply as a full-coverage foliar spray at the labeled rate for the target pest. Use sufficient water volume to thoroughly wet plant surfaces. Certain cultivars may be sensitive to the final spray solution, so treat a small number of plants and observe for one week before treating the entire planting.

Do not apply by air. Do not apply through any type of irrigation system. Do not allow people or pets in treated areas until spray has dried. Do not make applications during rain. Do not apply while bees are foraging or to plants that are flowering. Do not apply more than 0.88 lb. active ingredient per acre, 50 fl. oz. per acre of Triple Crown T&O, or 0.50 lb. imidacloprid per acre per year. Always read and follow the product label before use.

Best pentest book read to date
Format: Paperback
This is the best penetration testing book that I have ever read to date. There is such a depth of understanding of penetration testing that is conveyed in this book in the way that the author is able to portray highly advanced topics in a conceptually understandable way. A novice might not be able to follow the text, as it is advanced, but for anyone looking to open their mindset up to becoming a more effective penetration tester, I HIGHLY advise this book.

Worth every penny
Format: Paperback
This book is in a class of its own compared to other security and pentesting books. I would highly recommend to anyone interested or currently working in network security. Instead of simply explaining how to use common pentesting tools, Wil Allsopp explains how they work and how to write your own custom tools from the ground up. Even if you do not have a programming background, it is worth understanding how an attacker can infiltrate a "secure" network without being detected.

Format: Paperback
Bought yesterday, can't put it down -- will reread it again this week. This book is a solid gold mine on pulling our InfoSec heads out of our InfoSec tailpipes and focusing on the modes and methods our real adversaries are using. (Pro Tip: They aren't using crappy malware, so if you're InfoSec program is built on stopping malware you should be concerned.) We all hear about the social engineering component to an effective attack, but to see it so effectively used over and over again with Wil's case studies really drives home the point. If you're involved in either the management of an Information Security program, or involved in the more tactical parts of penetration testing, I'd put this on your short list of books to read this year. I hope he does a follow-up.

A well-written and updated book that covers Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) in detail.
Format: Paperback
The author truly knows his art. As a penetration tester, I feel that many books just re-hash the same old material and tools. This book covers much more than just pentesting, it covers APT and gives realistic scenarios and tools that actually work. This is a book for everyone who works offensive and defensive security because it covers how real malicious actors approach companies and steal their critical data.
