The Nuna Triv Next in Thistle is the compact city stroller built for the rhythm of everyday life — morning park runs, coffee shop stops, and everything in between. Lightweight at 18.5 lbs, it folds quickly with one hand, stands on its own, and converts to a PIPA™ travel system in seconds, road-tested in our boutique for the parent who never slows down.

Reversible Seat & One-Click Travel System

The Triv Next connects to all Nuna PIPA™ series infant car seats via the included ring adapter — which folds with the stroller for a more compact footprint. The seat faces both ways and the stroller folds flat in either direction, with a 3-position recline, adjustable calf support, and a quick-release five-point harness that converts to three-point. Suitable to 50 lbs.

Smooth City Ride & One-Hand Fold

All-wheel suspension and spring suspension under the seat deliver a cushiony smooth ride on any surface. Large 9” rear wheels and 7” front wheels with rubber foam-filled tires handle city terrain with ease, while swivel-lock front wheels add control on uneven ground. The quick one-handed fold stands when folded, with a height-adjustable push bar and one-touch rear brake rounding out a stroller built for daily life.

All-Season Comfort & Weather Protection

The all-season seat keeps baby cozy in winter with a plush knit panel that converts to breathable mesh for summer. The water-repellent UPF 50+ extendable canopy features a flip-out eyeshade and peek window, while the MagneTech secure snap™ buckle self-guides and locks automatically. The removable Merino wool and TENCEL™ lyocell seat insert provides ultra-soft comfort from the very first ride, and luxe leatherette push bar and removable arm bar accents add a refined finish.

Ally is a 60-something-year-old woman who upends her life in Edinburgh to move to tiny Locharran in the Scottish Highlands and open a B&B in the old malthouse located on the estate (like the rest of the town) of the Earl of Locharran, Hamish Sinclair. She has her first paying guests in an older, English couple, and an American, Wilbur Carrington, who is investigating his Scottish roots -- and possibly his being the rightful Earl of Locharran? Ally's cleaning lady finds Wilbur with a knife in his back outside the B&B. This is sure gonna' affect Ally's brand-new business! Of course, her kids back in Edinburgh are concerned for her safety as well. Along with the lecherous earl's attention to Ally, the murder at the local B&B makes Ally the intense focus of local gossip, so this spurs her into attempting to solve the murder herself, as the local gendarmes don't seem to be having much luck. So...whodunnit? As soon as more folks showed up on the scene, renting rooms for Ally, the identity of the murderer(s?) became more clear. I still enjoyed the descriptions of the scenery; the new lab puppy; and the townfolk, even though this "Scottish" mystery was obviously written for an American audience w/ many stereotypes thrown in. 4 stars.

I love that the main character is an energetic independent older woman I can relate to. Ally is funny, smart, and says what’s on her mind and even at her age (late 60’s) has to deal with Romantic situations some encouraged and some definitely not. I totally enjoyed this book couldn’t put it down and plan to read the remaining books in this series. The book definitely keeps your interest from the first chapter on. I loved that the setting was in Scotland (I’m part Scottish) and it was describe so beautifully I almost felt like I was there.

Worked well near the equator
Style: SPF 50
I bought this product because I was going to be in the field for a month, outside, every day, all day, in Tanzania at high altitude. A severe sunburn would be hard to treat in the remote area we were in, but also I am very careful about protecting my skin from aging. I had to have mineral based sunscreen because as a whitewater kayaker I know it’s the only truly water resistant kind and it was going to be sweaty. And since I knew I was going to be putting it on every day, and we didn’t have running water in the field (bucket showers only) I didn’t want it to feel gross. (I really wanted to try the spray but I didn’t want to put anything pressurized in my luggage.) And I had already discovered the Coola face sunscreen (30spf version) which had impressed me with how silky smooth and not greasy it is. Now this IS greasier because it is a higher SPF. BUT I think this product is as good as you’re going to get with the protection you’re getting. Like I said, I’m a white water tiger, so I have used a LOT of mineral sunscreens. This was hands down the most comfortable one I’ve used. And it was effective. I didn’t burn once—only time I did burn was when I forgot to put it on one day toward the end of the trip, when we were out for just a couple hours—and I got the first 2nd degree burn I’ve ever had in my life. That was what this stuff had protected me from, all day every day, the entire trip. I did tan a little but I think that was mostly from the few times I was not covered during short bouts or it was cloudy. For my face I used the Coola 50spf face product.
