Product Information

Daikon Radish is great for food plots, winter cattle forage and soil improvements. Daikon Radish tap root looks like carrots growing to lengths of 18 to 24 inches. Deer eat both the green top and the radish itself. Daikon Radish is also used in soil improvements as well as cover crop.  Daikon Radish is very aggressive and will germinate and thrive in most soils types around the world. Great for no till food plots!

One of the biggest benefits behind Daikon Radish is its potential as a source of forage for both deer and cattle. Because the Daikon Radish is so hardy, it can thrive in almost climate and will continue to thrive even as Winter temperatures set in. This makes Daikon Radish a popular form of cattle forage during the Winter months as well. During the Summer, it's just as popular a source of forage because of its aggressive growing tendencies, and how quickly it sprouts new leaves after being consumed.

Daikon Radish have been a popular as a form of sustenance for residents of Southeast Asia for thousands of years. Thanks to its mild taste, it has found new audiences across the world in more recent years. Daikon Radishes can be stored for weeks, even without their leaves, if they are stored in a cool place. In Japanese cuisine, they are often pickled.

Obviously the large root leaves behind a significant cavity in the soil, making it an optimal option for breaking up soil, including heavy clays, for those who wish to plant new crop options in years to come. Studies have shown that this taproot leaves more than 6 to 10 inches of effect on soil compaction. The word "Daikon" actually translates to "big root" in Japanese!

One additional way to use your Daikon Radish is for the traditional Japanese art of Rokusho, patination or coloring of non-ferrous metals. One of the last steps in the process is to actually rub down the treated metal, which has traditionally been done for centuries by using a Daikon radish! Hancock Seed cannot, however, provide all the copper acetate, sodium hydroxide and other chemicals required for the process. Actually, we're just going to recommend you use this amazing root as a cover crop, wildlife forage option, or for your own table!

**Daikon Radish Seed is GMO-Free** ~~~

Daikon Radish will thrive in any one of the three climate zones, when planted during the late Summer, or early Fall. Seed at a rate of 10 to 15 lbs. per acre, and fertilize at a rate of 300 lbs. per acre with a 19-19-19 fertilizer (equal parts nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium). Cover seed at a depth of half-an-inch.

We recommend rotating Daikon Radish fields at least every 2 to 3 years to prevent the development of fungi.

Small pump works as advertised. Needs longer hose
Color: Orange, Number of Items: 1, Color: Orange, Number of Items: 1
This is a physically small, light pump which matches my light duty application. I have a Solterra EV. While all cars need the tire pressure set properly, it is more important on an EV. I need to change the pressure by 2 or 3 pounds at a time on 4 tires to maintain 38psi. The pump performs beautifully. It pumps up to the 38psi I set on the pump and stops right on the button. I verified the pressure with my pressure gauge which agrees with the tire pressure monitor in the car. The pump performs accurately. The 5 button control on the device is implemented quite well making it easy to operate. It only took a minute to figure it out. My only complaint is the hose is too short. All the battery operated pumps I see have a hose that is too short. I purchased a longer hose from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D2X52HY8?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2&th=1 The longer hose allows me to stand instead of bend over if I am holding the pump. I can set the pump down on the garage floor even if the schrader valve is at the 12 o’clock position on my 19 inch tires. The hose is quite flexible and easy to use. I understand some rims have tight quarters around the valve. Make sure there is room around the valve for this chuck. Overall, this does what I need and consumes only a small space in my cargo area. Quite pleased.

Works great!
Color: Orange, Number of Items: 1
This works great! It is kind of bulky and big but I guess that's for the air. I use it for everything and it's portable to take on the go. Love all the attachments that it comes with. Very versatile. Display reads perfectly and correct and the inflation is super fast. Will definitely buy again!

Works reasonably well, though with an Achilles' Heel.
Color: Orange, Number of Items: 1
I've had to use this on tires that were very low, both on cars and on bicycles. It works exactly as you'd expect and absolutely has no trouble handling the much higher pressures of bike tires as well as the much larger volumes of typical car tires. I kind of wish it came with some sort of pouch or something because the box it comes in is the only means to store it with all of its attachments,; Because of how tightly it's all packed in the box, it's a bit of a pain getting it all arranged neatly in the box each time, but that's a minor quibble. If Amazon reviews allowed fractional star earnings, I'd probably rate this more accurately a 3.75 or 3.875. It still has two little flaws. One is the accuracy of its pressure gauge. It always seems to fall just a little short. For example, on my car, recommended cold pressure is 36 psi in front and 39 in the back. I tried pumping to those levels, and everything looked fine. But immediately afterwards, the TPMS sensors would tell me I'm at 35 and 37. Likewise, I like to keep my bike tires at around 42 psi for my commuter bike and around 70 psi for a road bike. After using this little guy, and double checking with a separate gauge, I was getting closer to 40 psi and 67.5 psi respectively. I'm inclined to believe it's a calibration/QC problem and there might be examples that overinflate, too. So while I got one that was overestimating the actual pressure, you might get one that has the opposite issue. Still, close enough that I'm not docking it a full point for this, but a faction of a point. The biggest weakness of this device is really a double-edged sword -- its compactness. The fact that it is compact means that it fits very nicely in the under-trunk storage or even a glovebox in some cars. Problem is that when the device is small, so too is the battery. There's just no escaping this. I had a moment with all 4 tires on my car being on the low side in terms of tire pressure. They were all underinflated by about 6-7 psi below spec and so I just used this pump to get them all up to that target pressure. Even with a full charge, I could not get all 4 tires all the way up to target pressures. I could get the 4th tire about halfway there, but that was where the battery died. That's just a reality you will probably have to live with. Given that it is such a small device, this is basically inevitable, so there's no sense complaining about it, but it is a reality you should be aware of.

An Easy DIY Headlight Restoration Kit with Strong Appeal
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
This restoration kit is appealing because it offers a way to improve cloudy or oxidized headlights without needing power tools. That makes it accessible for people who want to do the job themselves without investing in extra equipment. Cerakote also has a strong reputation in protective coatings, which gives this kit added credibility compared with generic restoration products. The biggest selling point is the promise of restoring clarity while adding a protective finish to help maintain the results. If the process is easy to follow and the wipes are effective, this can be a worthwhile DIY option for improving both appearance and nighttime visibility. For vehicle owners with faded headlights, this seems like one of the more convenient restoration approaches available.

Perfect
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1), Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Honestly one of the best headlight restoration kits I’ve used. The instructions were simple, the process was easy to follow, and the results were way better than expected. My headlights were heavily oxidized and yellow, and after using the 2000/3000 grit sanding steps with the ceramic coating, they looked almost brand new again. The ceramic finish made them crystal clear and glossy. Definitely worth the money and much better than cheap polish-only kits.
