A staple for many gardens Daisies come in numerous varieties and these are suitable for zones 3-12. The seeds are very tiny and you can start them in pots early, or direct seed them directly in your garden any time after your first frost in the fall until the last frost in the spring. When direct seeding we recommend that due to the size of the seeds you use the shaker method where you mix your seeds with dry sand and place into a small shaker to evenly distribute them in your garden area. Lightly dust with peat and keep moist until germination.

They dislike soil temps above 70 degrees when germinating so if you temperatures are a bit erratic in the early spring it's best to start them in pots or trays and then transplant after your last frost in the spring.
