Care Tips for Lophophora (Peyote-style cactus):

 

Light:

Loves bright, indirect sunlight. Too much direct sun may cause sunburn, especially for young plants.

 

Soil:

Well-draining cactus mix is a must. Add extra grit or perlite for airflow and drainage.

 

Water:

Water sparingly. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. In winter, water once every 4–6 weeks or not at all.

 

Temperature:

Prefers warm temperatures, ideally between 20–30°C. Keep away from frost or cold drafts.

 

Growth:

This is a very slow-growing species. Patience is key! Great for collectors who love to watch rare plants thrive over time.

 

Extra Tip:

If newly repotted, avoid watering for the first 7–10 days to let roots settle.
