Here's a step-by-step guide on how to grow melon seeds:Materials Needed:
Melon seeds (Choose a variety suited to your climate)
Seed starting mix or well-draining potting soil
Small pots or seed trays
Plastic wrap or humidity dome
Watering can or spray bottle
Grow lights or a sunny windowsill
Fertilizer (optional)
Garden space (for transplanting outdoors)
Procedure:
Selecting Melon Seeds:
Preparing Planting Pots:
Fill small pots or seed trays with a seed starting mix or well-draining potting soil. Moisten the soil thoroughly.
Sowing Seeds:
Plant melon seeds about 1 inch deep in the soil. Place 2-3 seeds per pot. If planting in rows, space the seeds according to the recommendations for the specific melon variety.
Covering Seeds:
Cover the pots or trays with plastic wrap or a humidity dome to create a warm and humid environment for germination. This helps retain moisture during the initial stages.
Germination:
Place the pots in a warm location or under grow lights. Melon seeds typically germinate within 4-10 days. Once the seedlings emerge, remove the cover.
Providing Light:
Ensure that the seedlings receive at least 6-8 hours of sunlight daily. If growing indoors, use grow lights to supplement natural light.
Thinning (Optional):
Once the seedlings have developed a few sets of true leaves, you may choose to thin them to one strong seedling per pot. This helps ensure optimal growth.
Transplanting:
When the seedlings are large enough and the threat of frost has passed, transplant them into larger pots or directly into the garden. Space plants according to the recommended guidelines for the specific melon variety.
Outdoor Planting:
Melons thrive in warm conditions. Choose a sunny location with well-draining soil. Melons benefit from raised beds or hills to improve drainage.
Watering:
Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during the flowering and fruit-setting stages. Melons require regular watering but avoid waterlogged conditions.
Fertilization (Optional):
Melons are heavy feeders. Consider applying a balanced fertilizer or one formulated for vegetables during the growing season. Follow package instructions for application.
Support (Optional):
Depending on the melon variety, some may benefit from support as the fruits develop. Use slings or netting to support the growing melons and reduce stress on the vines.
Pollination:
Melons may require pollination for fruit development. If growing in an indoor or controlled environment, you may need to hand-pollinate using a small brush.
Harvesting:
Harvest melons when they reach full maturity. Different varieties have different indicators of ripeness, such as a change in color, a sweet fragrance, or a gentle tapping sound.
Growing melons from seeds involves providing the right conditions for germination, transplanting at the appropriate time, and ensuring consistent care throughout the growing season. With patience and proper care, you can enjoy the sweet rewards of homegrown melons.

Best battery power lights on the market
These light are great, easy to use just pull apart then wrap around the umbrella pole, holds on securely where you want it, provides 3 light setting, bright light. When done with the lights either turn them off or remove the batteries and store them away for the next time. Set of 2 lights. Great buy.

Good, but use batteries
These work good, very bright lights. But I wish I would have gotten the solar ones. These take batteries and I don't want to keep buying batteries.

A lovely gentle cleanser - good for rosacea-prone skin
I have also purchased the Thayer's Milky toner and really liked it.
I normally use oil-based cleansers, like Beauty of Joseon ginseng oil cleanser (which I still do love), and Cosrx makes a snail mucin cleanser that I use for cleansing off makeup or sunscreen and it's very nice. But for my daily regular wash, particularly in the morning, I like a very gentle easy-to-wash-off cleanser that hydrates and soothes.
This Thayer's has no perfumes/fragrances! Good for rosacea-prone skin. Hydrates and soothes very well.
It didn't strip my skin, wasn't oily at all (though good oil-based cleansers do feel oily they don't stay oily), and felt wonderful as I cleansed my skin - also washed away very easily and quickly; I do about 14 or so splashes of water to be sure all is removed then use a washable reusable toner pad with toner to remove any lingering residue.
It doesn't make my skin feel tight or dry. It is gentle. It doesn't lather up, which I like since I don't use lathering products or soaps on my face. No burning, itching, redness, or any irritation at all.
I normally use K-Beauty but Thayer's is one brand I will use that's not in the K-Beauty products category. It really is a lovely cleanser.

Gentle, Hydrating Cleanser That Doesn’t Strip My Skin
I’ve been really enjoying this cleanser so far. The formula feels lightweight, creamy, and hydrating without leaving behind any heavy residue. I especially love that it’s fragrance free and sulfate free because it feels very gentle on my skin and doesn’t leave my face feeling stripped, tight, or dry after washing.
The ingredients are a huge plus for me, especially the snow mushroom and hyaluronic acid. My skin feels soft, balanced, and hydrated after every use. I’ve also noticed my skin looking healthier overall since adding this into my routine.
Another feature I appreciate is the locking pump, which makes it convenient for travel or storing without worrying about leaks. Overall, this feels like a high-quality everyday cleanser and I’ll definitely continue using it.
