CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright but diffused light. To grow dense and maintain its beautiful, dark leaf color, the rubber tree needs a lot of light. It will thrive on an east or west-facing windowsill. Strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays, which can quickly cause burn spots on its dark leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Moderate and thoughtful. The rubber tree does not like excessive moisture! Allow the top layer of soil (about 3-5 cm deep) to dry out completely between waterings. Since the plant is in a relatively small (12 cm) pot, the soil will dry faster, but remember – it absolutely cannot tolerate root soaking in standing water in the saucer, which will quickly cause root rot and leaf drop from the bottom!

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives at standard room temperature and adapts well to normal, dry indoor air. This plant does not need misting, but it must be strictly protected from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes (especially when airing rooms in winter).

• 🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly. The plant is toxic to cats and dogs. The white sap (latex) typical of the Ficus family can cause severe oral irritation, drooling, vomiting, and digestive issues if chewed. Keep it out of reach of pets!

• Bright living room or bedroom (as a very elegant, aesthetic, and air-purifying design element).

• Office or workspace (because it does not require daily attention and tolerates drier air).

⚠️ Note: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen and its foliage density may vary slightly. It is important to know the secrets of nature about rubber trees: their biggest enemy is dust! To allow the plant to breathe and look perfectly glossy, regularly (every couple of weeks) wipe its leaves with a soft, damp cloth. Ficus plants tend to be conservative and dislike frequent relocation – find one good, bright spot and let it grow there peacefully. If a leaf is torn or broken, the plant releases a white sticky sap (latex) that can irritate the skin, so it is recommended to wear gloves when repotting or pruning. When repotting, use airy and loose houseplant soil with good drainage.
