Sansevierias are tall robust plants also known as a snake plant or mother-in-law's tongue. They are hardy with long sword-shaped leaves. The Laurentii variety has dark green leaves with lighter gray-green, zig-zig, horizontal bands & broad, longitudinal, yellow stripes along the margins. The Zeylanica variety has dark green leaves with shades of other greens and large white spots. Although it is a flowering plant, it rarely blooms. When it does, the flowers appear as fragrant pale green or greenish-white blooms.
