The secret to this orchid potting mix recipe is a mix of components specially crafted for these beautiful but complicated plants and their long and thick roots. Our base is made from sphagnum moss and perlite, which provides your orchid with an extremely moist and well-draining substrate to grow, and the charcoal, leca (clay balls), and orchid bark give the roots the right amount of aeration to breathe while retaining moisture and providing beneficial soil microbes.
