It is a creeping, perennial, succulent vine native to the drier parts of southwest Africa. In its natural environment its stems trail on the ground, rooting where they touch and forming dense mats.

String of pearls plants are unique vining succulents that are easily recognizable by their tiny pea-shaped leaves. The leaves grow on trailing stems that gracefully spill over the sides of planters and hanging baskets. You can use these stems to propagate the plant, which is a robust and quick grower—gaining about 5 to 15 inches per year—but does not live long without propagation.

Great product, dislike new 43oz size
Works well. Prefer the “fizzy” formula over all others. I recommend adding powder to your cup, fill 30-50% with cold water, then use a small handheld milk frother to blend. It’ll “foam” then settle, add you can add more water. (If you fill the whole cup with water right away it’ll overflow when it foams up.) I prefer to drink it quickly, before it starts to thicken into a heavy gel/paste. 3 star rating for 2 reasons: 1) Strongly dislike the food coloring! 2) They recently changed container size and shape. It used to be a 29oz cylinder, now it’s 43oz and more like a tub. The new format is too large for my kitchen vitamin drawer + too wide and heavy to grab with one hand. (I’ve included side by side pics here - didn’t think to take them until I’d already removed the 43oz label for recycling.) I saved my last 29oz canister and I’ve been decanting powder from the 43oz, keeping the 43oz in pantry storage.

Taste: While the product doesn’t taste bad, preparing it as directed results in a very mild orange flavor. -as a drink I would prefer more flavor. Texture: The psyllium husk absorbs water extremely quickly—even in cold or room-temp water—which is just the nature of the ingredient itself. Because it starts to gel so fast, you have to chug it, and even then it can be difficult to get down. (I personally gag at it, but I have sensory issues) If the gel like texture is an issue for you, I found it more palatable mixed into food with water on the side. Texture aside, the product itself is highly effective. Mixability: It doesn’t always mix smoothly and tends to clump. Again nature of the ingredient not the brand. The powder is very fine and non-gritty perfect for other mixings. Side effects: I had uncomfortable bloating the first time (2 scoops/ full glass), I recommend starting with (1 scoop or less/full glass) Dont rush it. Increase it from there as you grow tolerance. You may feel very full. - it helped me eat less!
