The deep, vibrant purple flowers are darker than those of most other lavenders and tend to keep their intense color even when dried. Like all lavenders, Royal Velvet is an excellent bed and border plant that also deserves space in a kitchen herb garden or cutting garden. The fresh or dried leaves and flowers are used in sachets, perfume and floral waters as well as in soaps and cosmetics. In cooking, Royal Velvet lavender flowers are flavorful additions to cakes, cookies, tea and coffee blends, and much more.

Your glass jar will include approximately 1 ounce of beautifully fragrant Royal Velvet lavender buds that you can use for your favorite foods, beverages or crafts. To best preserve their color and fragrance, we recommended keeping your lavender buds out of direct sunlight.
