The Pinarello F5 105 Di2 MOST Ultrafast Bike is Pinarello's all-around road bike for riders who want race-derived performance without stepping into the brand's flagship tier. Pinarello has been building bikes in Treviso, Italy since 1952, and the F-series carries that pedigree into a UCI-approved carbon package designed to handle climbing, descending, sprinting, and sustained endurance riding from the same machine. The Torayca T700 UD carbon frame is built around Pinarello's "All-Round Performance" ethos — aggressive enough for serious riders while remaining manageable across a full day in the saddle. Nine sizes from 43cm to 59.5cm cover a wide range of riders, and this MOST Ultrafast build arrives with 45mm-deep carbon wheels as standard.

Pinarello's TiCR™ internal cable routing system runs every brake hose and shifting cable through the frame and the E-TICR elliptical steer tube, eliminating external clutter from hood to hub. The elliptical profile isn't cosmetic — it increases torsional rigidity in the head tube area compared to a round steer tube of similar weight, translating to more precise steering on fast descents and technical corners. The F-Series Onda carbon fork carries Pinarello's signature asymmetric blade design, with differing left and right profiles that account for the unequal lateral forces produced by disc brake caliper placement and drivetrain loading. Underneath, the aero keel bottom bracket and integrated seat clamp contribute to the frame's structural efficiency. Tire clearance extends to 32mm, accommodating wider rubber for rough pavement, extended training days, or rides where grip matters more than outright speed — without requiring a wheel swap.

The MOST Ultrafast 45 wheelset defines this build. MOST is Pinarello's in-house component brand, and the Ultrafast 45 is a 45mm-deep carbon disc wheelset — front and rear — designed to pair with the F5's geometry and clearances. At $6,200 for a complete bike, 45mm carbon disc rims are an unusual inclusion; most bikes in this price bracket ship on alloy or shallow-profile carbon wheels, and purchasing an equivalent wheelset separately adds significant cost. The aerodynamic depth is present from the first ride, which changes how the bike behaves at pace. The cockpit follows the same MOST spec: Jaguar Claw Ultra Aero aluminum stem and handlebar, proportionally sized per frame, along with a MOST Lynx saddle and MOST Competition 700x30 tires. The F-series carbon seatpost completes a build where each component was chosen to complement the frame, not fill a price category.

Shimano 105 Di2 handles the drivetrain and braking. The R7170 hydraulic disc brake/shifter hoods pair with R7150 front and rear derailleurs for wireless 12-speed shifting across a 50/34 compact crankset and 11-34 cassette — a range that covers flat-road speed and genuine climbing without requiring a cassette swap. The R7170 hydraulic disc calipers with 160mm rotors at both ends deliver strong, consistent modulation in wet and dry conditions, with predictable feel on long descents. Shimano's 105 Di2 is a mature platform: firmware is well-established, dealer service is widely available, and the wireless architecture eliminates the external junction boxes that earlier Di2 generations required. Crank length is spec'd by frame size — 170mm through the smaller sizes up to 175mm for the largest — a detail that reflects the thoughtfulness of the build rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

In Pinarello's lineup, the F5 sits between the more accessible entry models and the Dogma F at the top. It's a proper road bike capable of race use — not an endurance platform softened for comfort, but not as narrowly specialized as the flagship either. The combination of TiCR routing, T700 carbon construction, MOST Ultrafast 45 wheels, and Shimano 105 Di2 disc makes a coherent case at the price. The wide size range and 32mm tire clearance keep it accessible to a broader field of riders and road conditions. The Etna Black Matte finish is available across all nine sizes, from 43cm through 59.5cm.

Sadly, DNF
Format: Kindle
I read this thru KU. I LOVED the synopsis. And then I began reading... and it was a DNF at 68% after picking it up and putting it down several times because I really loved the main female character. *****SPOILERS***** Pros: The world is unique, intriguing and fun. The primary female character is bad-a** but not a b*tech or a mary sue. The primary female has depth. I really want to know what happens to her even tho it's been weeks and I don't remember her name. The villains to the point I read are pretty good -- an ever present threat of mysterious and possibly many culprits. Cons: Way, way too many points of view. I stopped counting at 7. It's the prime reason why I don't care about most of the characters or remember their names even when I like them. There's just too many points of view so almost none of the characters have enough book space for the author to properly develop them. This literally killed the book for me. Actually it killed my desire to read. For weeks. The main male is more villain than hero. He agreed to marry the main female then locks her up & eschews her for her sister, all while bad mouthing her as unfit to rule when he never spent any time with her getting to know her. He is actually unfit to rule as he is blind to the woes of his own kingdom and starts off a peace mission to secure a ceasefire through marriage by murdering an inn full of people in her country for no real reason. Plus, he constantly makes promises he does not keep. And it's gross of him to pine for the sister behind the main female's back. ***** As much as I really wanted to see what happened to the main female character, it wasn't enough for me to keep trying to slog thru this book. There was a lot of potential here that just fell short. Hence, 3 stars.

Fae Courts with High Intrigue
Format: Kindle
This book is one that just builds and builds and then surprises you to no end. You may think you know the villains and then you are jolted in another direction. Princess Reyna is a real gem, strong of character, a fierce fighter, and loyal to her family and kingdom. Just when you think she and Lorcan, well you know, the plot is flipped. Can't wait to see where this goes in book two.

Slow, sorry but good
Format: Kindle
This was a slow moving book. Lots of character pov chapters, lots of superfluous descriptions and endless courtly appearances stalled this book to start. Once you get into the heart of the story, it takes off. Before you know it the book is done. My favorite character is Reyna. She is so strong. She is true to herself. She gets into a lot of trouble with her headstrong ways but it's entertaining. I have high hopes for Lorcan. He is honorable to a fault. Thane had turned out to be better than I thought but i still don't like him. Eislin is useless. Great plot twists at the end. I'm looking forward too book 2.

Very detailed! Beautiful world building! Strong Heroine!
Format: Kindle
Starts off a little slow and confusing with different POV’s, but starts to all come together towards the middle to make an elaborate plot line and makes it all worth it. Beautiful world building and attention to detail as well as great writing. The cliffhanger was gut wrenching! Can’t wait for the next book!

Interesting
Format: Kindle
This was a very captivating book once you got into it thoroughly. But the third person perspective was a bit hard to get used to. But as you got into it and followed the different characters, it was interesting and filled with intrigue, conflict and forbidden love. I can’t wait to read the next one and to complete the series.
