3000W DIY EBIKE KIT

This powerful 3000W e-Bike rear hub motor kit is a significant upgrade from the 1000W or 1500W kits. PACKAGE INCLUDES

• 1 x 3000W brushless direct drive (gearless) rear hub motor laced to strong MTX rim & XT150 connectors
• 1 x 60a (or 80a or 100a) brushless motor controller (please ensure your battery can match this 60/ 80/100-amperage continuous power output otherwise it can damage your battery. Feel free to ask if unsure)
• 1 x LCD SW900 display (or select UKC1 display)
• 1 x pedal assist crank sensor (PAS)
• 1 x throttle full twist (right hand) and matching left hand handlebar grip
• 1 x pair of brake levers (suited for mechanical/cable brakes)

DESCRIPTION

This kit offers much more power than the 1000W or 1500W kits we sell and can reach up to speeds of over 70km/hr with a 52V battery and 90km/hr with a 72V battery. Please check your local laws and guidelines when using this kit on your bike and apply the 25km/hr 250W limiter when using this kit in public areas. Generic Instructions are included in this kit only (i.e. due to the many DIY variables possible no specific instructions are included). WARRANTY

• General Wear and Tear is not covered by warranty.
• Damages occurring due to incorrect fitment are not covered by warranty. Please contact us in case of being unsure of the correct installation or operation of the kit beforehand.
• Please take care to properly fit and protect the wiring coming out from the motor axle as this can be damaged if not correctly aligned with your disc rotor.
• Please take care to seat the motor axle fully into the bikes' dropouts during installation (or after puncture repairs) and tighten the 21 mm axle nuts on either side of the motor firmly. Damage caused by incorrect installation is not covered by warranty.
• If using the bike in full power mode, it is highly recommended to fit a torque arm (purchased separately) to both sides of the bike (two in total). The torque arms should be suitably orientated, and tightened, to prevent the axle from free spinning inside the dropouts. Not doing so can result in the motor axle spinning loosely within the dropouts during operation (due to high torque) and cause damage to the wiring directly at/near the motor. This type of damage is not covered by warranty.
• To fit the kit correctly you may require the 5mm steel spacer behind the disc rotor (do not use the compressible plastic one supplied as this is for transportation only) and longer disc rotor bolts. If you are unsure at any stage, please kindly contact us and we will help.
• The kit is not waterproof and therefore should not be immersed in water.
• Although this kit is renowned for being well designed and long-lasting, damages occurring from incorrect use of the kit is not covered by warranty. The kit is not suitable for doing jumps, wheelies, impacts with kerbs, exceeding the recommended weight limit or downhill riding. The kit is most suited to riding on well paved surfaces and enjoying light gravel tracks.

NOTES

• Press the 'M' button on the LCD meter to turn on and start enjoying the full potential of the kit.
• The rim is best suited for 2.35” to 2.5” wide tyres.
• AU regulations require that the kit does not exceed 250W continuous power and 25km/hr on public roads and paths therefore please set the ‘P08’ programming setting on the display to 25km/hr under these circumstances. To access the settings, press the ‘UP’ and ‘DOWN’ arrows at the same time for 1 second once the kit is turned on and then short press ‘M’ to toggle through the ‘P’ settings e.g. ‘P01’, ‘P02’ etc. till ‘P08’ and check this value is set to 25km/hr.
